Evocations & Invocations of Divine Vitality

Transformation happens when our learning is infused with intentional processes of becoming.
Each week, following an ICN article, we offer invitations into deeper becoming—spiritual practices, ways of engagement, and opportunities for life integration. This rhythm seeks to intensify our mystical practice, deepen our embodied engagement, and call forth greater transformation in ourselves, our communities, and the world—the I, the We, and the All.
IF YOU MISSED IT LAST WEEK, WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO FIRST READ THE ARTICLE INFORMING THESE PROCESSES: “Love is Not All You Need”
We invite you to consciously and intentionally engage in the following processes for your personal lives, WeSpace groups or other spiritual communities, and global participation.
Divine Vitality Invocation
This practice is not a guided meditation. It’s better to engage with it as a sort of invitation into a sacred activation. I encourage you to not so much try to follow the words with your mind, but rather be immersed by them with your whole being. Hear them from the deep, like a song of new creation, calling forth the divine life from within, among, and beyond us in the power and presence of divine vitality arising in our midst.
We encourage you to engage in this practice in communion, in a group setting of any kind or WeSpace with intentional, relational engagement in the shared field, opening to enlivened presence beyond individuality.
For WeSpace Guides & Group Leaders:
If you are leading this practice for a group with either the recording or transcript, it is recommended to pause your guiding after the prompts for Heart / Whole Being in the WE (where the music comes in on the recording). Here you can “open” the WeSpace for sharing and giving voice to what is arising and being experienced by the group in the moment.
Then, when the time is complete, conclude with the final section as a closing blessing, benediction, and charge.
“Divine Vitality Among Us”
A Sacred Song of Evocation for Divine Vitality
The following offering is a spontaneous singing from Heather Healy in response to last week’s article.
She says,
“This song arose as I connected in my womb to the womb of the Mother. May you feel enfolded in Her spaciousness so that you receive what is needed and welcome the flow of divine vitality however it may move in you.”
Heather’s practice of sacred song is a soul expression of love, healing, and vitality. The songs arise from the divine source within, from a deep place of intuition and spiritual attunement. The sounds and syllables are not of any recognized language or common refrain but rather give voice from the womb and speak to the soul beyond words. She offers her songs, when prompted by the Mother, in her WeSpace, with her clients, sometimes in the wild. Learn more at her website: heatherhealy.com

Engaging in Sacred Prayer Poetry as Divine Evocation
The Fire Rises in Me
by Symeon the New Theologian – 11th century
Translation by Ivan M. Granger
The fire rises in me,
and lights up my heart.
Like the sun!
Like the golden disk!
Opening, expanding, radiant --
Yes!
-- a flame!
I say again:
I don't know
what to say!
I'd fall silent
-- If only I could --
but this marvel
makes my heart leap,
it leaves me open mouthed
like a fool,
urging me
to summon words
from my silence.
