Explore Movement in Your Mystical Practice
At ICN, we believe in practicing embodied mysticism as the primary way to evolve our consciousness and come into deeper communion with God, one another, and the whole cosmos.
Seated meditation and verbally guided meditations are perhaps more familiar to many of us and a good start to practice deepening awareness in our embodied centers. But it’s very likely, in our process of coming into further embodiment, we will eventually feel the need to move.
Movement has a way of ushering us out of our heads and into the intuitive risings of the body in the moment. It allows us to express what we are/have been holding and move in and through those feelings and experiences. We have also found that through movement and free body expression as a form of meditation, we are able to connect with the Divine in our bodies and let Her wisdom flow forth.
Divine Movement Group Practice:
Divine Movement is a group that meets on the 3rd Saturday of the month at 10am CT to practice together in various ways of conscious movement, dance, and embodied practice. Through these practices, we aim to connect to the divine and often specifically the Divine Feminine, through the four centers, the 5Rhythms of movement, and more.
Our process includes a shared movement practice with music, reflection, and group sharing at the end.
All are invited to come practice!
