In this four-week interactive and experiential class series, participants join the community to learn how to use contemplative and awareness-based practices to cultivate lovingkindness, joy, compassion, and gratitude for the benefit of themselves and others.
Together, we explore how such qualities can lower stress, balance the “negativity bias” in the brain, and promote greater mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being.
Each class briefly introduces the positive emotion or quality explored, and participants engage in dialog, reflection, dyad exercises, and meditations.
Participants practice with recorded guided meditations and daily life exercises between classes.
